The Limestone Coast starts from Younghusband Peninsular all the way south to the Victorian border. It has large wetland areas, lakes, volcanic craters and lagoons. It’s famous as a wine region with a commercial woodland area as well. The coastline which incorporates the Coorong ( sea water separated from the ocean by sand dunes) is sometimes rugged with beautiful sandy beaches.
